Well I just got my first 1/32nd Corsair and thats Big Hog. I'm very impressed but what I cant figure out is why 21st couldnt have done this with their big 1/18th scale Corsairs? But again I'm very impressed with Big Hog and it comes close to ranking right up there with my 1/18th Marines Dream BBI Corsair as far as detail goes. Right now its parked next my 1/18th Ira Kepford Corsair as a salute to VF-17 one of the greatest Navy Squadrons of WW 2. Great job 21st on another 1/32nd plane. Keep it up.

The 32x Corsair is a great model, with the "Big Hog" version being my favorite scheme and the "Devil Dogs" version a close second. 21c couldn't (or at least didn't) do that sort of detail with their 1:18 Corsair as it was an older, pre-Roy Sutherland model. The 21c Corsair was awesome when first released in 2002, but the times have changed. I totally agree that the 32x Corsair is nearly on par with the BBI version in terms of detail and that it exceeds the 1:18 21c version. The 32x Stuka also does the same with its larger brethren

Yes, Yes, Yes, that is an awesome aircraft!!!! I love it, and I also would reccomend the VMF 115 one, cause it is awesome, that one is my favorite, it has the same paint tone as the Flight 19 Avenger!!, It is sweet!

Well they at least made a paint prototype of Big Hog in 1/18 as it's on the box of all the original Corsair releases. Wish they would've released that scheme as well.

vmf214,
I agree with you 100%. That would have been cool to have sitting next to my Ike Kepford Corsair. But Big Hog sits next to it now. Only smaller.
