Do they still make the airplanes? I haven't seen anything new since the SPAD and the Fokker Dr.1 and that's been a long time ago.

I don't think so. I haven't seen any planes, tanks, nothing by me. And the stuff on ebay is getting expensive.

I haven't seen the planes in my area for several years. The armor was gone before that.

Matchbox announced in 2005 that they had no intention of continuing the line into 2006.. :?

That was such great stuff. It brought a lot of people (including myself) into the hobby.

I'd love to see them pick it back up. They did a terrific job with it. Good value.

I agree on those being great planes. You can still find them on ebay or at some small retailers. They are what helped get me into 1:72 scale aircraft as well! Their quality was comparable to Corgi and even Dragon and the pilot figures in the cockpits were a nice touch! Matchbox really needs to re-establish the line :wink:
