I received this tank for X-mas.
I am wondering if this is the first diecast tank ever built by Minichamps.
Also, I wonder if the "Tiger" tanks that appeared in the 1977 movies "A Bridge too Far" and "Soldier of Orange" are actually Leopard 2's!
In any case, this is one badass Panzer!
Our M1A1 can knock it out though, right?

MInichamps Releases
Hello Stryker,
The first two vehicles released in this series were the first issue Panther and Jagdpanther, way back in February 2001. The first issue Leopard was released over a year later in May 2002.
My question to you is is a "Specialtist" the same as a "Specialist"?
Cordially,

The tank in A Bridge too Far was a Leapord 1. The movie was produced in 77 and the Leapord 2 is from around 1983 or so. The M1 and Leapord 2 use the same gun so are probably an even match. Here is a link to a photo from the movie.

Leopard 1! Cool
If Minichamps ever releases a 1:35 Leopard 1, I'd buy it.
