I picked up an AVG P40 in 32x for my son today. As with my other P40s, the canopy was so loose that I attempted the "hot water, bend, cold water" trick to tighten it up on the slides. I have done this four times before with my other P40s and it worked great everytime. Well, the fifth time was not a charm. Being gentle, I thought, the canopy snapped right in half down the middle. I put it back together with ACC and it holds fine but it looks terrible. Would be worth my time trying to get one from 21st?

Funny, I was just going to post something asking for help on how to fix my loose P40 canopy as well...I wish I could help you, but all I can ask for is anyone's advice on how to secure that canopy without damaging it. Good luck on trying to find a replacement...
