Quick Custom Idea for 1:32 Armor

Here's how I created a 1:32 scale tank round using the tip to an old ball-point pen, a piece of the plastic ink tubing from the same pen, and some glue.

I cut the tube to the right size and drained the remaining ink which is best done over a sink. The metal tip had the perfect shape and with a little piece of the ink tube left attached, looked very much like some sort of tank round. The tubing needs to be painted a gold or brass color. The entire piece should only be 1.5 - 2 cm. long.

I attached my creation to the hands of that origional 32x German tank crew figure with the brimed cap and hands in a "yelling" position, which worked perfectly for holding the makeshift round.

Sounds good! I have tried custom rounds several times then broke down and bought 1/35 8.8 rounds? What you going to do? I also repainted some of the German Tank crews in a Dunkel green, gave one a pair of Binocs and changed their leg positions. I have a real good 88 crew now. Not many people do this but I am sure they know. 21st century figures can be boiled and reshaped. It works great on some. What the trick is is to boil the water, drop them in scoop out with a spoon, bend to the position desired ( here is the tricky bit) you have to be able to hold them in that position and run them under the faucet in cold as possible water and they stay. If you screw up toss em back into the water and they return to the originoal positions.

Some bend back but for the most part it works great, swap out some weapons and you can create tons of figure poses! Now if only they would come out with a few more sets!
