Didn't understand that German vs German, but hey, they were two packs. Anyway, new paintscheme on the Tiger and Africa corp colors on the other two. Retail was just under $25. Several other pics on the boxes of releases and it did show the M7 Priest. Hmmmmm, anyone else see these. These were in East Tennessee.
Oh, now you're gonna have to post pics......

The WMs in my area NEVER even got the last releases of the 32x playsets with the aircraft, Sherman, and 88mm gun :? Or, at least they haven't arrived yet. Now there's new ones!

It sounds like they also came with some good armor pieces that haven't been seen in a while. The M-18, Hannomag, and scoutcar are some of the better 32x pieces of armor, despite being some of the first vehicles released way back at TRU.

Hi guys!

Here's a couple of eBay auctions of these new sets with some nice pix! The seller provided some nice close-ups of the unboxed vehicles!

Well for all those that have been hoarding the scout car etc for higher prices on E-bay just got torpedoed  Those things were going for WAY too much moneyPlus now I can score a Tiger etc that I missed out in the first rounds I even like the paint jobs better than the S1.

Agreed.. The paint scheme on the Tiger is more accurate although the lack of zimmerit can be overlooked..

fyi the paint schemes on the hanomag and scout car are not desert schemes. It was not uncommon, especially in the early days of the new 3 colour system, for the standard 3 colour scheme to just be 2 colours: either dark yellow with some green overspray or dark yellow with some dark brown overspray, as in the case of this new 2 pack.

It was rare to see an Afrika Korp vehicles in anything but desert sand and when they were camo'd it was usually with a bit of pea green overspray and virtually all those vehicles were in tunisia.

It's interesting that 21st Century dropped the figs so they could reduce their price on these S3 repaints. Just the opposite of FOV who added new figures to their repaints. Wish Dragon would take a similar approach to adding "value" for collectors. They just announced 2 MORE Tiger 1 repaints!

I was happy when 21C threw down the toy gauntlet saying this would be the best year ever, but sceptical not wanting to get my hopes up too high.

However, they sure seem well on their way to releasing news frequently as promised, but also between KB, WM and the online retailers, pumping a steady supply of real product as well! (In three different scales to boot)

Keep it coming lads! :D

Interesting. Another unexpected development. I do like the paint jobs on the Hanomag and 222. They look a lot better than the straight grey.

Boardmember Kagnew has reported a new 32x aircraft set in Texas, entitled DOGFIGHT in the 1:18 21c thread. It comes with a 32x P-47 and a FW-190D9 :D

The question now is are these new, old, or tweaked paintschemes?

The real question is do they even include a pilot  We all know how skimpy figures included in the package are getting with 21st now.

And they used to be so good about it! The first 32x vehicles had 3 crew figures, then later two - and that was better than most FOV vehicles until recently :?

The next step would be to release "Battle Damaged" versions. Missing turrets, skirts, wheels, doors, etc.. ;-)

Hey y'all --- I went to WM in McDonough,GA and they have all 3 double packs!!!!I dont collect 1:32 so I really didnt take a good look at them but they were all $24.99 each!!!! They had a green M-48(Hellcat) and a gray Tigertank---German halftrack and a scout car(both a tan camo)---a P-47 and a 190!!!! I didnt take a good look at the planes (Iam a boots on the ground kind of guy!!!)They had alot of single green and white JapZeros for --I think $14.99!!!So 1 more plane about $10.00 sounds pretty good for all you 1:32 guys!!! :D I do remember that on the back of the double plane box they had a pic of the new 1:32 Corsair!!!!If 21stC does a Corsair and a Zero double pack for $25.00 I will pick up 1 or 2!!!!Hey why not?????I hope this helps out!!!!---RED---

Yippee!! More new stuff. I wonder if they have any metal in them. It's about time that they re-release these pieces. I'm not too worried about them not having crew members. How many German officers do we need checking their watches?

I think the figure idea or lack of is bogus! While I agree the guy checking the compass or watch is lame after the sixteenth time! But I would like to see some new figure sets! Good figures not re released. Also why not scuplt a few new crews? How much could it cost to do three new Panzer crew sculpts or three us crew? Hell King and Country has a release every month with a lot of highly detailed figures. 21st has the world by the tail and they decide to go down market?

Dont get me wrong I love the new stuff, but turet swaps and dozer blades only wet the apetite!

KEEOOOLL! I've wanted one of the 222s for years but the three tone is just awefull! The AK scheme actually looks pretty good. Are sand and green the only paints 21st has right now? Do a panzer grey one again!!
PLease
