Dragon Announces its First 1:72 Jagdpanzer IV L/48

Post by lightning2000 » Wed May 31, 2006 4:31 pm

Hello All,
Well, looks like we're finally seeing some new tooling from the folks at Dragon. Here's the link to their latest tank destroyer:

Looks quite nice and even comes with schurzen side armor skirts. My guess is the Hetzers arent too far behind...

Agreed, its' quite nice. But is it really a new tooling or just a fancied up Jagdpanzer IV (3rd release?)

Jagdpanzer IV L/48

Hi,
You could be right. Again, I havent had the chance to compare the historical evidence between the two vehicles. Could be a situation where the L/48 sported a different gun than the L/70 and every other facet of the vehicle was comparable. Still, with the added skirts and all, its pleasant to see some new vehicles finally materializing. Anyway, no complaints here...
