Post by normandy » Sat May 20, 2006 4:58 am

Check out 21st's site, theyare doing the Stuka in 1/32 (32X) This looks like it has better detail then the 1/18th one.

That's great news! I was hoping they'd do this.

Awesome! They finally did the Stuka! I like how they got the flaps right on this version, but it still looks alot like the 1:18 21c version. Hopefully it won't be too long before these come out... and I wonder what new planes (or repaints) will ship with it? The 32x aircraft have gotten pretty good distribution across the country (and my area always seems to get them first :P ) so I don't think this will be a plane we will have to hunt down like the 1:18 aircraft. My 1:32 collection will now get a little larger...

it will be interesting to see if they come out with a D/G version as well, given that they have started doing structural mod repaints on other 32x planes. Mind you it's a fair bit of modification to make a D/G out of a B.

Any speculation on the "correct" or "corrected" repaint? My vote is for the Snake scheme because there is some debate as to whether or not the snake was actually filled in, let alone red. :D

There will be more paint schemes of it, but only the North African Stuka (or Stukas) will have an enemy among the 21CT planes: the British P-40. Except, when the next released by 21st will be... the Hurricane or early Spitfire (or any French, Russian or... Polish plane).

Hm... The longer I look at the photos of the prototype, the more sure I am that the propeller was placed backwards. Look at the different form of edges of the propeller: the left (forward) edge should be at right. I hope they will made it correct in the real model. But the whole plane: very nice!

Wieslaw, I saw your post and then looked at the 21st pics a few times  Looking at my 1/18th Stukas, You are Correct... the propeller on the 1/32nd Stuka is on backwards. We'll have to tell TKO or Roy :?

I knew it!!!! Nicely done 21st. :D

Now all they need to do is release this in 1/18.

TKO... do I win something for guessing the corrected scheme 3 months in advance?
