Strange Happening and decaying tracks...

I had a strange thing happen with my computer. I went to log on to this site, using the link from the "my favorites" section and the site would not come up at all. I tried it a couple times before I noticed the web address was wrong. The weird thing was that the web address my computer was trying to use was the old "Ground Pounder`s" site that has been gone for quite a while now. My computer is only a few months old, so it isnt like a leftover cookie or something. When I checked the address at the favorite list, it was the old groundpounders address...OOOOooooh
Anyhow, I have an old Dinky Chieftain Tank that I bought when I was 12(30 years ago) for $8. I picked it up to look at it the other day and noticed the tracks were starting to come apart at various places. This isnt the first time this has happened with some of my older stuff. I just wonder what may be in store years down the line with our FOV and 21st tracked vehicles with degrading of the plastic tracks. I do have old Tamiya stuff that has good tracks yet, so maybe there is hope. I also wonder if new fangled O-zone air cleaners may damage tracks they way they may damage rubberized goods.
