A grand way to spend a grand...

It sure is pretty...don't know if it's $1000 (with shipping) worth of pretty... :|
Tamiya has offered completed models in the past, and I would be more tempted to go with the Phantom the same seller has listed...anybody got a spare stimulus check they can lend me... :)

It's an awesome 1/32 pre-built Tamiya F14.
I could not even afford the kit itself let alone $1000 model
That's why I opted to build my own F14 but in smaller 1/48

My cheapo Academy BK F14 which I built last year

And just got the Hobby Boss kit also in 1/48 to build a Persian Cat next

Shouldn't it be called an Ali Cat?

Nice work as always, cnq, you give the Tamiya master builders a run for their money! Looking forward to seeing the completed Persian F14...not a typical choice, are you gonna do the desert camo? I'm sure it will come out looking good...

Thanks.
The Academy kit cost me $30 quid. I paid double for Hobby Boss because it has decals for Iran F14. Also it has much more details than Academy.
Yes I'm going to do the desert camo.

Thanks.
My 1st model was the 1/72 Sukhoi Su 27 (forget maker) which I built ~ 1990 with super glue and small paint brush :)
