I want to build in BoB markings.

Fantastic! I had one of those kits but sold it. I was intimidated by the amount of canopy framing that was going to have to be painted inside and out. I'm at a point where I no longer have the patience or skills to do major canopy frames. I like the big scale but the amount of detail needed to create the true scale model can be monumental. You seem to have no problem defeating my demons. I am envious of your talent.

I cheated and using canopy masks. There is no way I could do manually with Tamiya tape
I took my time and worked on it since building kits is my favorite hobby, and no pressure to get it done quickly.

Canopy masks aren't cheating, they're working smart. I would have used them too but even the mask looked too intimidating!

Stunning job on this kit CNQ as are so many of your other planes.
The paint scheme looks great and the decals look as if they are painted on.

yes the large decals were painted (sprayed) on using masks as well. It took a bit more time to do it but came out better than using supplied decals.
