Dragon's new Dioramas

I was looking at one of Dragon's newer dioramas - the one that shows a Tiger and a T-34 passing each other. I have both of these models. All that has been done is place them on an "icy" road passing each other. The description says:

This diorama portrays a hunt just like this on a country road covered in deep snow, a Tiger I roars past a
T-34/76 Mod. 1941 victim. You can almost smell the whiff of diesel and hear the clank of tracks on the icy Russian road!

Somebody warn that German tank that the T-34 is not a "victim!" In fact the T-34 looks just like my Dragon T-34. No bullet holes, not blown-up turret, no tracks blown off. When that Tiger gets past the T-34, the Russian guy is going to spin around and shoot him in the rear! Ha! fooled that Tiger.

Sorry, for the levity, but it would be nice to have the Tiger go by a damaged T-34. That would be a cool diorama. I think that we are the "victim" for buying this one.

I saw that and sort of wondered the same thing :P

The little time I did spend collecting 1/72 vehicles (very little) I grew disgusted with Dragon and their re-issuing, dressing up and repainting.

The recent "ha, fooled you! The 1/35 Tiger really is limited so next time don't wait one week or you'll miss out!!" was just more of what I see as their disdain for the collector. In the business I really see them as the anti-AT, the anti-little guy. Have a word (if you can) with one of their toy fair reps and you'll get a true taste of their corporate culture.
