Ever had a D'OH moment ?

Post by kimtheredxd » Sat Feb 25, 2006 9:24 pm

I was dusting my Me262 and was looking at the nose area. I thought the panel looked a little funny jabbed a finger nail in the slot and D'Oh there is a hatch that opens on both sides of the nose(i have had the plane for months too) Man I guess I am not very observant.Any one else have moments like that with any of the planes etc?

many times...when I plucked the clip out of the 1:18 Japanese sub machine gun, when I plucked the engine out of the 1:18 hanomag with little effort...my most recent discovery was how to put the little poncho on the 1:18 Dragon figures after all this time

Mine occured when I discovered the retractable tailwheel on my 1:18 FW-190D9 and the pushrod on the landing gear on my new 32x Macchi C.202. There's been some others, but I can't think of them at the moment...

In addition to the cannon raising and lowering, it also swivels. It doesn't move far due to how its mounted. I just discovered this recently.

I can't remember if anyone reported this, but the crew seat in the 20MM flak gun bed will fold up against the cab.
