Post by hworth18 » Wed Feb 15, 2006 3:40 pm

Counting planes in the pics I have seen from the fanclub and figure sites, I can see a total of 15* new 32x planes on our horizon.. I have listed the ones below that I know of at this time with the best description I can come up with..

(** -denotes Japanese symbols/FB Fuselage band)

(6) total Zeros:
(2) White-
"AI-155" Akagi
"V-187" Pearl Harbor
(4) Green-
"**-170" (yellow FB)
"168" (double white FB)
"*-110" (yellow & white FB)
"105" weathered (no FB)

(3) total Macchi 202 Folgores:
Tan-Green blotch camo (white FB)
Tan-Green smokering camo (white FB)
Green w/Tan splotches camo (white FB)

(3) total Macchi 205 Veltros:
"222" striped camo
"18-1" Grey/Grey camo
"German"

(1) Bf-109E:
Wespen Gerschwader

(1) P-51 Mustang
Ridge Runner (Red Nose)

(1)P-47 T-bolt w/fin fillet
Lanowski

*revised

Look like an expensive year for 32x, I just hope they all don't come out at the same time...

According to the 21c sources, they should be appearing soon. I'm hoping they see the distribution that the first P-47s and FW-190s saw at Wal Mart, and that they aren't rare like the more recent aircraft releases.

Well lets see, there have recently been some new vehicles (Dodge & Hummer), the RC tanks, the S2 Japanese and the OMG paras, the Bunker Hill Corsair, Stuka, and ME-109G repaints, and in a couple months there will be the retooled P-51s, the F-86, and (hopefully) the Avenger. All is not lost in that realm yet, and those of us who collect both scales are going to be digging deep...

I think, it is not the P-47D but the P-47M. And it's the first 21st CT plane flown by the Polish pilot (Cpt. Lanowski was one of the Polish fighter pilots, who came from the Polish squadrons to the USAAF)! Thank you, 21st CT! I'm waiting for the next Polish planes and maybe tanks and soldier figures, too...

Thanks Aferg,
I saw the prototype pic of the green w/sand slpotches earlier, but it wasn't shown at the toyfair, so I wasn't sure whether to add that one.. :?
Maybe TKO can verify if it is a production certainty or not??

If it is one, then we have 15 planes total!!! :D

I like Aferg's suggestion of going to a monastery. Thats where I'll have to go when I ever decide to stop collecting small-scale military products...

I know this is OT, but oh well :)
