Tom, Ketelone thanks for the positive feedback.
After waiting a few days I looked over the way the left side decals came out and I decided to continue and apply the decals to the right side nose, tail and nose wheel hub. Once those decals had set I touched up some places with the Olive Drab, Red, Black and Gray paint. Some of the earlier pastel chalk weathering had come off from handling so I fixed that and added a bit more to the aircraft.
After I considered myself finished my son handed me a batch of full .50 cal machine guns for the waist windows! I started working on one but after several times of placing it around the model it just didn’t seem to be the correct scale. They seemed a little bit bigger than they should be so I am putting them to the side for now.
These last couple of pics is just for fun with some other items.

Excellent model! You did some great work
And yes, I agree with you - those machine guns are way too big. Given their size, they are likely closer to 1/72 than 1/144.
