I have been absent from this forum for quite a while. As my hobby interests "revolve" I usually get back to things I left for other projects and life issues.
Well, a couple years ago, I built a 1/144 German Dora railway gun. It was a gift for a fellow big gun fan, who was retiring from the company we worked for.
It was a Soar Art kit built right from the box with no mods. Some photo etch parts, lots of plastic. I airbrushed it and weathered it. It came with a decent base which I mounted to a wood base with an acrylic cover. I added a Dragon 1/144th scale Russian T-34 for size comparison.
I nice kit I never want to build again...lol

That's so cool! I always wanted the 1/72 version of this and the other mortars.

Thanks! This model was a bit over two feet long. I can't imagine how big the 1/72 version would be. I think there is even a 1/35 version out there too. I would need a new garage to display that one in! Lol
This model tried my patience and sanity numerous times during the construction. A 1/72 would put me in the looney bin for sure!
