A scale modeler's heaven. The Cincinnati Scale Modeler's put on this show and swap each October. The event features vendors with thousands of models for sale both new and vintage. There is a contest that displays some the finest museum quality models you would ever want to see. Very inspiring. Here's some pictures:

Just a small sampling of the kits for sale. Lots of bargains!:

My friend Jay builds exclusively 1/32 German WWI. His fabulous Pfalz has every wire, cable, turnbuckle, switch, knob, spring and handle that is displyaed on a real one. He hand paints the wood grain on the props. You can see the elevator and rudder cables in this picture. His paint schemes are authentic.

I was looking for some decals and a few reference publications and left with a 1/32 Beaufighter, 1/32 110 Nightfighter and the huge 1/48 scale Monogram B-1B. (Size does matter) When finished it will be about the size of a 1/18 F-18. Got a great deal on the B-1B because it was missing the instruction sheet. Just printed the free download from Revell!! I think there are more parts involved in the landing gear than the rest of the kit!
