Great British Locomotives Series 1/76

Just stumbled across this subscription series on Ebay. It's been out in the UK for a year or so and is by Amercom. It features 1/76 (OO Gauge) static model locomotives, with new models coming out every 2 weeks.
The models are quite nicely detailed but the wheels are static, so they are for display only....though many model railroad guys are using the body shells and inserting their own operational running gears.
All locos in the series are of British origin, which is what the series is about. Each models is between 10 and 12 inches long. 1/76 will work pretty well with 1/72, so long as you don't have the equivelant subject in 1/72 as well, then the size difference is pretty noticable.
Not sure i'll be getting any of these myself.......while tempting i'm just not sure i have the money/time/space to commit to them. There are some really nice looking models, however.

The models can be found on Ebay and are $20-$30 or so each (they cost about $14 each in the Uk at the newstand, so they're a great deal if you live there).
