Oxford Queen Mary Trailer

i just made a neat discovery. Oxford makes a Queen Mary trailer rig, used for recovering RAF aircraft during the war. The one they make is based in Tunisia in 1943, so i'm thinking of using a suitable banged up and cut up easy model Spitfire to put in it. Could put lots of aircraft in the trailer including the front section of a Lancaster. The trailer set costs about $20 and is diecast.

This is really cool. 8)

Wonder when it will be available?

Oxford seems to be the only one who will make aircraft related vehicles. Even if they are 1:76 they seem to work ok. I have a couple and plan on getting this and some others.

Yes a bomb cart. Was looking at an old Airfix box and the Oxford tractors look a lot like this one.
Is the Oxford tractor WWII?
One of them says 50's though so wasn't sure.

Wasn't aware the Queen Mary rig was available.
Some sites are still pre-order till end of December after I checked.

Had to look that up. It's called a David Brown tractor. Pretty cool in 1:1 scale.

All they need is the bomb carts and some figures. Already have a Corgi Short Stirling. 8)
Yeah one of those tractors should suffice.

What's up with the Luftwaffe Bedford truck, is it captured?

Always looking for German trucks, vehicles or weapons etc. you might see around those aircraft as well.
Usually prefer the plain jane grey vehicles mostly so this one looks like a buy for sure.

havent seen that one before. Not sure what the story is. Maybe it was captured in France? I've never heard of Germany manufacturing Bedfords before or during the war.
