Well today at a flee Market I picked up a 1989 Revell M-42 Duster model. Open but looks like everything there. My Question: Was this ever in a combat and what war ?I got it pretty cheap too $14.00. So I'm happy. Any ideas on this model on putting it together.

Thanks. It will go well with the 21st century M-113 I have. Now to get a Huey in 1.32 scale. Any good Huey kits to look for?

I had a set of UH-1D's when I was younger, I think monogram made them, you could probably look threw eBay, if all else fails, 1/35 is pretty close...

Revell has(d) a 1/32 Huey kit. The die cast 1/32 Huey can be found. I have located both at flea markets, model shows, train shows, etc. If you want to go crazy, Figarti's Hueys are spectacular but around $300.
