What aircraft set is this? Epap?

Anyone know who makes these? It's listed as Atlas and 1/72 but the undercarriage is fixed down.

DAF member, Biffo, posted a picture exactly like this on January 15, 2012 and stated that he saw it on eBay/ France. We were all puzzled, about the landing gear and the best guess was that the set was probably made by IXO as part of its older series and used later by Atlas. This is surprising as Atlas also released a FW-190 ( not Priller ) vs. a Bodney Bay P-51D set as part of its own subscription line. Possibly the one in question was part of a test. Who knows?

is there any limit to your knowledge, Epap. :)

did anyone ever get the set? I doubt it or you would have probably mentioned it. It looks like there is no u/c up option, which is unusual for ixo but maybe i just can't see the bits or in the early days they only offered fixed down?

The p51 is not the Atlas/Oxford mold as it doesn't have the open radiator door under the belly.

Thanks, AF. We do our humble best.

As for the IXO/Atlas set, its one I would never have bought as I only want unusual subjects from lines such as these. So far, I know of no one who has it.
