Wow that's a great paint job on a nicely built model!! Who makes the kit?
Very cool looking plane. I see the Germans weren't the only ones
on the leading edge of design and technology.

Thanks guys.

normandy,
Hasegawa makes the kit and it's an excellent kit except it has raised panel lines as the mould is quite old. I like the Shinden and always think it would look nice in "night fighter " camo.

Thank you Sir. I was planning to retrofit it with jet engine but in the end could not justify to purchase another kit for just the engine.......

Very nice job. Always interesting to do "what if" schemes. That aircraft has to be one of the most beautifully shaped ever made. It is definitely one of my favorites.

Thanks again guys. This Hasegawa kit is one of the best bang for the buck kit I've ever worked on.

I hope one of the more budget-minded companies produces one in 1/32 that's cheaper/easier to find than the Zoukei-Mura version.

Or, failing that, Z-M will reissue theirs. Even though I have given myself a personal build limit of only aircraft that actually saw combat during WWII, there is no way I could pass on one of these just like I could not pass on the Horten 229 or any other Luft'46 nonsense. Just too cool not to own.

Well I'm not too picky and will pick up cool planes in any scale as long as they are reasonable priced  . They are too cool to pass by waiting for manufacturer to release them in your favorite scale :D
