Small Scale Military Headquarters

We just finished some B-17's as they would be on the airshow circuit using a new set of decals by Kitsworld. The decals laid down beautifully with a little solvaset. They are Aluminum Overcast, Yankee Lady and Texas Raiders.

F-Toys B-17G's?

I recently got one of those Corgi 1:144 hangars, but haven't put it together yet. Yours is scratchbuilt?

man that looks so great. 1/144's biggest advantage is to be able to set up group displays like that.

Yes the B-17's are F-TOYS. Its a shame they have become so expensive. The same as the CafeReo BigBird B-24'S. The same ones that my son and I did the 90th bomb group Jolly Rogers markings for. It does not make any sense, $40 - $60 for a 1/144 plastic airplane.
The hangar is out of cardboard with clear sheet windows that were run thru the inkjet printer for the window frames. We also have a couple air control tower sets from Corgi. We set up airfields instead of the standard train layouts.

The latest one is FUDDY DUDDY as she appeared at the Wings of Eagles Airshows at Geneseo NY in the early 80's.
