Hi All
I would like to know if the aircraft F 86 SABRE 'Paul's mig killer, and the one called 'peg o my hart' produced by CORGI cat.n. US35807 piloted by Joseph E.Fields in Korea is infact the same one that has different markings on both sides or if they are 2 different aircfts flown by the same pilot ?
This is quite puzzling to me as Corgi reproduces only the Paul's Mig killer version
can someone explain this to me ?

As you can see this aircraft has the same number 91175 code FU-175
but has two different art nose

unfortunately on your URL I only find the Sabre 'Huff'
unles you mean that the Sabre belonging to J.Fields had a double nose art
in this case Corgi reproduced only one nose art ?

I was trying to point that other Sabres also had dual nose art with "The Huff" being a very famous example, so your Sabre is probably accurate.
I have the 1/18 "The Huff" and, in one account I read a long time ago, the story was that Sabres were in short supply at one point in the Korean War, so two pilots were assigned to share one Sabre which resulted in each pilot having his unique nose art---one on the left and the other on the right.
