Just finished this Revell 1:32 kit Uhu fighter. Everything is built out of the box except for the swastika. Hope you like the pictures.

Man!! That looks great!! Makes me want to break out and start mine.
Fantastic job!! 8)

If you'd like a suggestion, use thinner antenna line and stretch it so it's tight. You can buy like a .01 black polymer thread at Hobby lobby that works great for antenna leads. I'll get more info on it if you'd like.

Wow! Very nice mottling too. 8)

I'll bet it's a big model?

Thank you guys.

I did enjoy working on this kit. The fit is excellent and all the parts fell together very easily. I did use a bit of putty between wings and main body to cover small gaps. I ended up adding ~35% more weight in three areas than what stated in the instruction to have it balance on the ground :D .

hworth18,
Sure I'd like to try this thread out for my next build. Could you give more info, thanks ?

[CAT]CplSlade,
The dude is made by First Legion. He is a tanker from my Tiger 1 tank.

Dauntless,
Yes this one is large. It's the same length as my Merit 1:32 F4 Phantom

Excellent work! I really like how you accomplished the camoflauge molting on the upper surfaces. Much better than the 21c effort on their 1:18 ME-262B

Wasn't the HE-219 one of the first aircraft to be equipped with an ejection seat?

Wow! Fantastic work. Are you going to display it on a surface or hanging from the ceiling?

Thanks again guys.

ketelone,
I'm displaying it. I'll build couple ground support vehicles to make a simple diorama

tmanthegreat,
Thanks. Lot of practice airbrushing on card board before I did the actual paint job.
You're right. It's the first ww2 fighter that has ejection seats.

That sounds great cnq. Based on the size of the plane that's going to be a sizable diorama. Please make certain to show some pics when it's finished.

Awesome build, cnq. 8)

You certainly did justice to that kit, and especially impressed with your mottling technique.

She looks great! 8)

Hey thanks Snake. That was my first attempt at this camo. My left hand got so tire holding up this guy while doing the mottling. I'm just glad I got it finished so I can start on something else

Pardon my lack of knowledge, but what is that round shaped (looks transparent) piece behind the cockpit flush on the dorsal area of the fuselage?
I've seen them on other German aircraft. A light that shines upward?

Hehehehe...I don't know for sure what it is. :D . I'm guessing it's some sort of a ventilation fan ? Maybe some one who has the knowledge could answer it ?

Thanks for comments Normandy. The Horten is also my most favorite plane of ww2. I'll probably get it when ZM releasing the 1:32 version next year. Hopefully the cost is not over $150.

I had no idea anyone was going to make a 1:32 Horten kit..... 8) I'd go for one.
You said "next year" as in this coming year or 2015?

I think I'll hold out for Revell to make one; Zoukei-mura kits are pretty pricey and hanging from my ceiling no one will see all that interior detail.

Although their Kettenkraftrad kit went together so well I didn't have to glue some of the parts together they fit so nicely.

It's going to be expensive, but I'll buy it anyway.
It pisses me off that REVELL didn't beat ZOUKEY-MURA to the punch.
I have no desire to assemble unexposed interiors.

I don't mind to assemble unexposed interiors as long as the cost is not too expensive. If it's too much I'll probably pass it and stick with the smaller 1:48 versions which I've already had.
