Nice one, Super. I've always wondered why one Chinese factory----the one that made you model, for instance-----can make such realistic blotches while others that work for Corgi or Hobby Master's "partner" factory can't even come close to this quality level.

I don't believe Super is saying a Chinese factory made this one - other than the parts in the box. This is a buildup of one of 21st's kit versions. One of the editors at Large Scale Planes built this, although the finished ones from China weren't too bad. I have a 205 built in China that is pretty nice - not as nice as the ones in the article but I'm quite sure Dykstra put more time and effort into his work than some factory worker. I myself built a 202 from a kit as the second model I built since I started doing kits again a couple years ago now and it looks about as good as "factory fresh" even though my airbrush skills popped their cherry with the green rings and you can tell. It was my first ever use of an airbrush and first attempt at camouflage beyond the olive drab I put on all my Allied bombers.

Overall, as stated in the article, for the money they are pretty good kits and can be easily scratched to perfection in the right hands, still staying cheaper than the kits now available from Pacific Coast Models which cost 2x-3x as much.

This is mine to compare:

The MACCHI is one of my all time favorite WWII plains!
I have the 21'st CENT TOY'S one, but I was completely unaware that there was a physical difference between the MACCHI and the VELTRO. I let so many of them pass me by because of this.
I would LOVE a 1:32 Sparviero Torpedo Bomber! One day, I can see it happen!

You mean between the Folgore and the Veltro. Macchi is the manufacturer.

Yes, that's what I meant.
