1/32 Revell Grumman F3F

Post by jlspec » Sat Oct 19, 2013 6:22 pm

Has anyone built the 1/32 Grumman F3F? I picked up the Revell Germany and Revell Monogram kits at a flea market yesterday. Any real differences between the 2 kits
Thanks

Only real difference should be the decals - the German one doesn't have the red dots placed inside the stars like the Monogram version - not sure what else.

I got a prebuilt example from a board member that acquired it from somewhere else. Assuming we are talking about the same kit, its a nice little model and rather durable. It should have the option for rigging. The landing gear retract in the correct manner and the prop turns. I was able to fit one of the older-style 32x sitting US pilot figures into the cockpit.
