Snake, i suspect your input will be invaluable here. Hobby Master has a light grey cf-101 out and a silver one about to come out. Which should i get?
To my recollection, the grey was the more common scheme but i think HM has the grey too light on their model, at least from pics i've seen.
IIRC the Voodoos i used to watch at airshows when i was a kid were silver.
What to do? (no i'm not getting both

)

There you go, Aferg.
I picked up both the previous Canadian Voodoo's, and am looking forward to the third release.
ACPilot from the other forum has been working with HM to get the early 60's version totally correct, with lots of minor corrections.
Think it will be the best example, with natural metal finish, and the old Dominion flag. If I had to get just one, I would go for this version. But nothing wrong with the 1970's all grey example. Guess it just depends on what era you want.
I picked up "Hawk One", although I am not a demonstration scheme fan. It is mounted on a pedestal at the airbase just north of me, so figured I should get it.
If you are getting some Canadian jets, I would highly recommend the CF-18, Aferg. HM did a great job on this model, and looks great in low vis grey. They did a twin seat B version as well.

Aferg,
The early 60's NMF CF-101 Voodoo has just been reviewed by ACPilot, who had a lot of input getting the little details just right.
Believe he got one of the very first examples, which HM seem to do with customers who help the pre production process with input. Lots of little corrections, and think this one turned out great.
I am sure ACPilot wouldn't mind me posting his review pics here.
Only 750 of these made, and apparently sold right out at the factory level. Wouldn't wait too long if you were thinking on picking this one up.
And side by side with the 1970's "Canadian Forces" Voodoo. Must say I like the NMF version better.
