War Master's MC-202 Is Here

Post by Epap » Sat May 04, 2013 6:00 am

Check out the Flying Mule"s website for pictures of the newly arrived 1:72nd scale MC-202 from War Master. This is a redo, based on the old IXO molds and it has heavy handed staining and the usual wing root gaps issues, but, over-all, it's a very attractive rendition of this classic WW2 fighter. Here's a sample:Image

OK, here's an issue I noticed with the 21C version of this plane, that has popped up here: The fascist logo on the starboard wing is pointed the wrong way (the little "hooks" in the middle of the logo should face outward like on the port wing). So, does anyone have a real picture of this plane? Was it a mistake in real life?

It's a common mistake that can be cured by applying the correct decal. I commissioned an SM-79 two years ago from a "pro" outfit and they made the same error.

Looks pretty good, better paint job than the IXO. Some touch ups on the scoops needed.
The scheme is a lot like the 1:32 21st Century Toys.

I noticed the Warmaster Buffalo is back in stock too.
