I couldn't resist buying a Stalingrad T-34 from First Legion as a foil for my Pz.III from the same manufacturer. Like the German tank, the T-34 is a 1:30th scale model of rather light polystone composition and it, too, costs $300, retail. But the amount of detail is excellent, as can be seen in the following pictures. First, an angled frontal/side shot:

I do like the looks of the First Legion armour pieces.
The T-34 does look a little "bare" without the fuel drums on the side, something I am not used to seeing.
Nice addition, Ed.

Thanks, Snake. I wonder what battle First Legion will do next. I'm hoping for a North African desert campaign set or, failing that, a Battle of the Bulge set.

I, myself would just apply the turret to the FOV, 1:32 t-34 chassis and be done with it.

First Legion tanks are great but expensive. If you're willing to pay, you should take a look at John Jenkins pre-war and early war armor. The Soviet tanks are fantastic and half the price... JJ's details are tremendous.

I agree. Here is a picture of the three JJ tanks in my collection:
