First off, its nice to hear somebody talk about plastic toy soldiers on SSMH for once.
I imagine the figures sets you speak of, are in 1:32?
I always felt that "ARMIES IN PLASTIC" really dropped the ball on WWI.
They released at least a dozen sets of 1:32 WWI figures, that were unfortunately too large and bulky to be compatible with any of the other 1:32 WWI sets available from other manufacturers, in the process killing the collectability of WWI in 1:32.
I really hope they hire a new sculptor this time and get their 54mm problem solved.
