I tend to favor unusual subjects, hence any model that represents a warbird of a smaller nation is of interest. In this case, we are talking about the Dutch WW2 air force. I have five of these replicas in different scales and compositions. Here they are:

Nice models, I always did like the Dutch markings, but never seen them on WWII planes, did you do these yourself?

The Buffalo is a 1:48th scale model from HM, the two large Fokker D.XXI's are kit-makes ( the one on the right a commissioned piece, though I had to make some corrections ). The 1:72nd scale Fokker is a solid resin casting I had made 15-16 years ago and, of course, painted. The Hawk is a Legacy of Valor P-36 which I modified and painted.

Really nice, first time I've seen those markings were on an old PC game I used to play (IL2 1945 I think?) those markings were on some of the Fiat planes like the G.50, looked cool to me, liked it ever sense.

Very nice. Once again I wish they'd offer them in 1/32.
