Now that there's 2 F-4's out, how about a MiG-21?!?!
I mean this, there's axis, and allied WWII aircraft, and in the 1/18th scale there's both axis, and allied WWII, and Korean War, aircraft, we need a mig to go with our Vietnam aircraft, does anyone agree?
Come on BBi, we need this!

Is there somewhere you can go to make suggestions to BBi?

I sent them emails before. No response in the form of an email or in product.

Trumpeter has a 1:32 scale Mig-21 kit. Overall, its likely less detailed in terms of tooling than the BBI model. I've thought about getting one before, doing a simple build (i.e. not all the complex detailing) so that I could then have a decent Mig.

In the past, BBI has largely not been responsive to customer demands on making this product or that. Other companies have been more responsive, particularly HobbyMaster.(So have fun with your BBI petition, THP :wink: ) If we get anything new in their 1:32 line, I suspect it will be repaints of the Dauntless and Wildcat. They did at one time have a 1:32 F-104C in the pipeline, but this never materialized.

I've sent this message to their company, and their store, maybe ill get a reply?
We'll see..

Okay look, I know y'all don't usually take these kind of ideas, BUT I've done survey's, and found out the NUMBER ONE model the serious collector wants, a model that will sell better than the F-4's!
From what I've gathered up from multiple model forum sites, the number one model that the serious collector wants is a 1/32nd scale MiG-21, after 21st Century toy's big B.S. announcements of creating a 1/18 MiG-21, it's been a real big deal, most people are not good at building models, so they depend on company's such as BBi, HobbyMaster, Forces of Valor, etc.. to come out with such items as the F-4, and MiG-21.
When it comes down to it, the MiG-21 would be a TOP seller item in the 1/32, and aviation community, this is just a suggestion on not only getting the people what they want most, but making your company BIG BUCKS.

(Hints the big bucks part)(money talks) :lol:

Ok, just got a reply back from BBi, here's the message, tell me what you all think...

Hi Derek!

Thanks for your input! And I do agree with you that the MiG-21 should be one of our next releases. Although, I cannot promise you that this idea will come to fruition anytime soon, but I already pitched it to our development team. It will be up to them to decide.

Also, we do encourage you to give us ideas- so we know what you guys want.

BASIC good business. Provide BOTH armies to the market. Where there are Indians, there are Cowboys, where there are Spartans there are Immortals and Persian Army.
(no, wait! Take the last two back, CONTE !@#$ that one up!)
I watched them "DROP the BALL" on the IRAQ war and at least half a dozen other subjects.
Just think of ALL the IRAQ war stuff, TANKS and FIGURES they released for the Americans, but hardly anything from the other side!

Some:
* Taliban Figs.
* Iraq Rep. Grd. Figs.
Not to mention some more enemy tanks, would have only fuled the fire for the collectors.

If only The "PLASTIC GENERAL" was in charge!
