1/350 warship questions

Post by dragon53 » Wed Jan 30, 2013 8:07 am

I have 2 questions about 1/350 warship models.

Question #1---Can any of you model warship experts give a "good deal" price for the following models?

1. Trumpeter USS North Carolina
2. Tamiya HMS King George V
3. Tamiya IJN Musashi
4. Tamiya Bismarck
5. Revell Bismarck
6. Trumpeter HMS Hood

Question #2--Can the Tamiya Musashi be passed off as its sister ship, the Yamato?...(I've seen various articles saying that they differed in some AAA guns, but others say the two ships were essentially identical at one or another).

Thanks for any input.

I must say how impressed I am with the exciting variety of battleships in 1/350 scale.
If I was ever to start collecting WWII navies, THAT would be the scale for me!
It's BIG enough, but not as crazy big and expensive as the 1/200 scale Bismark.
HELL, even the new Classic "USS ENTERPRISE" spaceship kit, is in 1/350!
