GUYS, if it starts with "N" and its from FOV, the secret word is "NOTHING".

On a brighter note, I think the "Kubelwagen ambulance" is a random piece of shit.
They should have just painted the AMBULANCE in a N. Africa camo. and included a wounded guy on a stretcher and a couple of medics. Then the collectors would have happily bought it again.
As far as the "nebelwerfer" goes, easy to produce and very cool subject + well sculpted crew of 3.

Are you guys at FOV listening???????????

Have to agree with you on that "Kubelwagen ambulance"
I'd like them to release a 1/32 German and American tank transporters. Enough with the ambulances!

Instead of another Kubel or Schwimm we could use a Type 82e Beetle, as you could conceivably get four different models out of that: the regular staff car, the wood-burning version (just requires a different front end), a pickup (rear seat and top leveled off to make a small bed) and ambulance (rear end reworked to make a small area for a stretcher).

At any rate, an artillery piece other than the 88mm, 75mm, and IG 33 would be nice.

How about this one:

The "BERGEPANTHER" recovery vehicle,
w. 4 figure repair crew.
That would be fun to play with.

I've been hoping someone would produce the Sd.Kfz. 250 halftrack series. Many chances for repaints and variants, plus there are several interchangeable parts from the Sd.Kfz. 251 series that could be incorporated.

It's funny how this very precise thread, morphed into a sad wish-book for starving collectors of 1:32.

I would agree this has turned into a sad wish list so i will abide lol. Hopefully with the towed AT gun maybe they will produce a jeep that tows a 37mm or 57mm AT gun. On the note of the ambulances I wish they did come with medical team, stretcher etc.

At last year's big toy soldier show I bought 1/32 German medic teams from I believe Classic Toy Soldier (CTS). The package comes with actually two teams. My intention is paint one DAK and the other ETO. Hobby Bunker, Minutemen Toy Soldier have them. They're under $20. The same outfit makes German crews loading an 88 for under $8 each crew. They go well with FOV and 21st.

What I think is missing from the FoV collection is an Afrikakorps tank - a Panzer III, Tiger that a few of you mentioned, or even a PAK 40. There's been a few British 8th Army items but very limited when it comes to the N. Africa campaign.

plastic:

Have you seen any of Master Box's 1/35 sets in person? Some of the personnel vehicles and Pz I kits like the munitions carrier and ambulance seem like they would work alongside 21C and FOV fairly well.

As about the only 1/32 game in town, I don't see FOV releasing such vehicles this decade, so this is what I have to work with.

Try the LANDWASSERSCHLEPPER from HOBBY BOSS.
Quite large and with removable top to access the interior.
Tonnes of fun. After painting, it feels like a 21st. CENT toy.
I would post photos, but I don't know how from my folder.

I predict by next January, at the "Nuremberg Toy Fair" there will be no more FOV.
To my great sadness.
BUT on the brighter side, there are always incredible new 1:32 WWII aircraft kits being released, including bombers and in 1/35 scale, WWII kits of every type and size, coming out weekly.
So remorse not, just adjust!

72 wise, the open cab truck and T-34/76 with the hex turret are pretty nice for being just variations on their previous releases. I've been hoping they would do a Marder II based on the pz. II chassis, but instead they just keep popping out Wespes.

I was looking forward to a 1/32 Wespe this year, but looks like it's not happening.

Looks like FOV is got a new CH-46 Chinook and another nice repaint of the B-25, not to mention some other cool stuff from Warmaster like the long awaited re-issue of the Altaya/ IXO He-219 Owl, 'bout time.

Scuse me guys, a little aviation break, ok back to the armor wishing.

Who knows, maybe they'll stick around and continue to fart out a couple of lazy releases every year for another 5 years? I would still prefer that, to going out of business.
