My "collection" has several scales mixed :
1/72 (Altaya et HobbyMaster) for essentially air forces and artillery
1/60 to 1/64 (Maisto, Welly, Majorette, Norev, Corgi and battlefield Evolution) for civilians and military ground forces
1/55 to 1/50 (Fenris, Code 3 collectibles, Solido, Disney toys) for trucks when playing with "little" 28mm figures ("Battlefield Evolution" scale)

1/43 (Welly) for cars when playing with "big" 28mm figures

 Here are some randoms shots of my collection (new toys added every month) but I invite you to have a look on my blog for After Action Reports (especially my ongoing "WAR OVER KRAZYKHISTAN" campaign).

Love that you have a couple of the old Galoob "Battle Squads" C-130s :D Those are a fantastic piece. I've still got mine, though its back in its original box.

Not entirely accurate, but pretty much to-scale (1:64) and is a well thought-out toy with lots of features including the opening cockpit/passenger compartment, the rotating props, retractable gear, movable guns, and of course, the cargo bay and ramp that could hold the pallate with the jeep and parachute, or a couple other vehicles. Those are the things I was collecting in the years before XD made its appearance

Got one with complete box and stuff and one without all the accessories. Threw the box because I'm more about wargaming than collection. But really cool functions as these rotating props (it's difficult enough to make engines sound with my mouth).

Does XD means GPXD ? And so, what was that meaning ? :?:

Welcome to the forum, Ulu Elsomalien.

That is a pretty varied collection you have going there. Lots of manufacturers, and scales.

XD means Extreme Detail, and is a slogan that is on the 21 Century boxes.

Thank you for the explanation and yes, I use multi scale because I'm not a good enough painter to avoid using prepainted diecast instead of having only 1/56 (28mm scale) vehicles.

* Willkommen aboard :D ... we are mainly 1:32 here but there are some who also collect those micro-scopic dinky scales.

I recognize the figures in your 1st pic as being from Battlefield Evolution. Even the pick up trucks with terrorist (or what have you) is from that line.

I came across this line by chance a month ago and bought a bunch of figures.
I was surprised to hear they have been out a while as part of a wargaming product line. I never saw them at the hobby store I visit in Orange County CA.

Anyway, nice diorama.

Pls mention where you got your figs as I am on the look out for their USMC series. I got their SAS ones which are cool because they are the only prepainted figures I found that have boonie hats...very special forces :D
