My Photo-Edited 1:32 Focke-Wulf Red 19

Hello all:

I recently posted a picture of my photo-edited Focke-Wulf in the 1/32 Sightings topic relating to the AllGo/21st Century Tuesday Morning airplane(s) find.

I thought I would share a few shots in this stand-alone topic as I've taken some additional pictures and photo-edits.

First, let me say that both airplanes are a fantastic deal at $9.99 each. The biggest issue for me is the lack of pilots; but those of you who have been collecting Ultimate Soldier/21st Century over the years, you may have an extra figure or two to add to this set. I had to Photo-Shop a pilot for the pictures of the FW in flight.

So what does this airplane look like? Here's a few shots to give you an idea.

Starting with my favorite picture of the set, the Red 19 as it makes its way through the cloudy European sky:

(note the addition of the photo-edited pilot)

The same image but in sepia tone to give the photo an aged look:

I really like the way this one came out.

Here's one without the texture:

And lastly, an unedited photo of the plane with landing gear down:

This particular image is much like the original photograph used for photo-editing. The image was taken with the landing gear down as I had never intended to photo-edit the plane in flight. I often times photo-edit images, but this airplane took a lot of time (with added pilot, removal of landing gear, clear cockpit window, change of angle, and to capture the overall look I wanted).

Hope you enjoy and I may be doing something similar with the P51 Mustang down the road. As always, comments are welcome.

Awesome photo Karl.

Thanks to the guys in the forum I just recently discovered TM here in Orlando. Found this same FW as well as some cool 1/18 soldiers. Maybe one of the coolest discoveries were some 1/35 models of scout cars, panthers, and swimmwagens for $5. BTW this is my first but most likely not the last foray into 1/32.

I just found out that there's one here in Salem (I'd never heard of
them before coming here).

I'll swing by there tomorrow when I go to pick up my 1/18 scale stuff in
storage. Thanks again for the heads-up.

Definitely a store worth checking out. You never know what they'll get in. Good luck!
