FoV jeep and ambulance?

Post by binder001 » Wed Jun 27, 2012 9:36 am

OK, I have been buying FoV long enough to know that they run WAAAYYY behind, but am getting antsy for new stuff. Has anyone heard any updated release dates for the US jeep with trailer and/or the US 3/4 ton Dodge ambulance?

The Jeep with trailer will be available in July. No news on the Ambulance.

I'm looking forward to this and the German KFZ. 70 Personnel Carrier. While the tanks are always nice, its great to get some of the transport vehicles for creating convoys and other non-combat scenes. The jeep looks awesome and I love the trailer.

I too appreciate the soft skinned vehicles. I plan on purchasing all of them and probably more than one of each. I wish FOV would consider making horses and wagons for my German troops. The majority of transport for the German army was by horse and wagon. Even the allies used mules and horses in Italy and of course in the Pacific theater.

You are quite right - ever try to fit a decent looking mule in 1/32nd? The mule served the US Army from the Rev. War through WW2 and nobody makes any.

You are also right, the German army started the war with horses and actually finished with a higher proportion of horse-drawn equipment.

I love armor but you have to have support vehicles, which include horses and mules and wagons.

Any news on when the KFZ 70 will be available?

FoV is useless with release dates, but I suspect July/August time for the UK. I don't know if you can then convert that to a US release date, sometimes you get stuff first, sometimes second..
