Razor17019, AFAIK pretty much all of the online retailers that were/are carrying the "new" 1/32 Red 19 FW-190 and P-51 "Shangra-La" has them listed for $20. It is my understanding that they just aren't moving the numbers they expected and they have to get rid of them. It probably has something to do with the fact that there are just re-released paint schemes and they didn't even come with pilots.

Who Knows I don't think anyone has heard anything new from them since the release of the two last summer. You would have thought something new would have been announced by now. Its too bad but they kinda blew it with how they decided to break...or flop back into the market.

I hope they still have some life in them.

Think there is a market for 1/32 P-51's and FW-190's, but they have to be in different schemes that haven't already been done.

And priced so that they will sell. Hate to say it, but many of the 21C collectors still want to pay the Walmart prices, and simply balk at the $40 pricetag. I think that they are worth it, but tough for a new company to break this mentality.

Having them on $20 clearance, and with no news at all for a long time, is not a good sign.

Pre-Painted Aircraft: 21st Century contacted us to buy large quantities of their 1/32 Fw.190A-8 JG300 and 1/32 P-51B Mustang "Shangri La". We have passed the savings on to you. Own a piece of history at this scale for just $20!!

I would have paid $40 for a new paint scheme. Say that P-51 in the 21stC 1:48 "Boise Bee" colors, or that 190 in the black cowling chevron scheme that is popular in other scales.

$40 is pretty much the average going rate for a not so hard to find 1:32 plane on ebay, but I guess most collectors already have the "Shangri La" and "Red 13" and anyone who doesn't won't make much of a dent in inventory, so we have a glut of them out there.

Maybe it proves that the original 21stC number of 5000 planes per scheme or less is just about enough for the collector market.

* I want my $20.00 back ... half of what I paid for the Shangra La , initially.

Appears All-Go didn't even know what was happening. Their own website has always and still does, list both these releases with "removeable pilot figures".

If they stay in business, it will on par with a blind squirrell finding a nut. I rank the re-release of "red 19" as the dumbest manufacturer move ever in this hobby. The fact that these were very slow movers for half the price should have been a major factor to consider, of course unless these were original left-overs as I suspect. New and fresh schemes with the same molds would have added new life to the chances of them cranking back up. Sadly, I am not optomistic with All-Go's rebirth at this point.

Any word on All-Go?
They've been very quiet since the release of Shangrila and Red 19.

I bought both of these schemes when they were still 21st models.

I only purchased a P-51 to support All-Go in hopes that it would lead to more paint schemes and maybe some new planes.

They had that 1:48 scale P-51B that had a very spotty distribution at Wal Mart. I never saw any on the west coast and have given up searching.

I got an All-Go FW-190 at discount to use for parts to fix up a couple of my other 21c planes. It came in the identical 21c box and was exactly the same as the 21c plane, except no pilot figure. I may get the P-51 for the same purpose.

Quite frankly, part of me wishes All-Go would go away, particularly if they are going to keep selling at Wal Mart or just re-release old paintschemes.

FOV, BBI, and Merit may cost more, but they are delivering the goods as of late with potential for more.

I found several Red 19 FW-190s and P-51 B/Cs in a local Tuesday Morning for $9.99. They were in the original 21st Century packaging.

Just about cleaned out a Tuesday Morning store buying five P-51s and three FW-190s for $9.99. I was going to be near it anyway and there was no shipping cost so I figured I can't go wrong with that price. Left two FW-190s behind that had obvious/visable QC issues with paint and bad guns. I'll probably keep a few and take the rest to the Museum for resale. Was shocked when I saw they were actually there. None of the other items people find at Walmart, Dollar Tree, etc. ever seem to make our area. So we know they aren't just in North Carolina. Thanks PAK38 for the tip

Will have to go take a look. I won't keep my hopes up as my two local TM stores only rarely get in the neat stuff, but if multiple people are finding them...

This reminds me from like 15 years ago or something when the Galoob BattleSquads military line started showing up at Big Lots (I think it was called McFrugals then) after Galoob folded as an independent operation. It indicated the demise of that company.

Sort of a sign that things which were there, no longer are.

Merit & BBI seem to represent the present, and hopefully the future, for 1/32 & 1/18 plastic aircraft models.
All-Go would make an excellent business school "model" on how NOT to start up a new business venture (NO offense, Zack, I know you're not a part of their poor decision making process!)

Stopped by my local TM and they had about 4 of each (Mustang & Fw190), I picked up a couple of 190s because they are good repaint fodder. I would have bought more if I had more cash.

Went by a local TM store today at lunch and was elated to find 14 32x FW-190s and P-51Bs Got my pick of the litter - just like the old WM days!

It was surprising to note the variations in QC though... Aparently Allgo was little better than its predecessor as there were lots of little paint goofs like misaligned markings, smudges, and glue fingerprints.

I only picked up two of the planes (an FW-190 and P-51) so the rest are still there. Its sort of excess in my collection, as now I have 4 "Red 19" FW-190s, including an unboxed 21c original, a boxed 21c original, an AllGo one for parts, and now this one. I may go back and get another P-51 for parts as its certainly worth that at $10 and keep the other in my stash.

Stopped at 2 Tuesday Morning stores today. Both had 8 - P-51 and 8 - FW190. Picked up a couple of each to open or repaint

If they're selling them for $9.99, their cost must be $5 to $7. A far cry from the $39.99 retail not that long ago. Sound like a company liquidation. I spent a long time inspecting for visable QC issues which eliminated quite a few. These last 1/32 planes by 21st C. had major components glued, not screwed. Bad paint and glue smears were the most common. Bad props on the P-51s were common too.

Picked up another couple of 190s today at another TM and will probably go back and get more this weekend.

O.K. I'm reading references to an "original 21st Century version" and an "All-Go version" of these two planes with comparisons of QC issues from both. So did All-Go supposedly actually "manufacture" any of these or did they simply buy left over 21st C. inventory that was slated for Walmart shelves before they went out of business? They seem like nothing more than a distributor. There's nothing on the boxes that I have that indicate anything but new old stock. They still have 2007 and 2008 dates. The boxes even promote the long defunct 21st Century Toys website and Fan Club. The lack of pilots could well just be a cost cutting issue that a struggling company like 21st. C. would do. WW2toys.net didn't make any of their stock. They just bought some truckloads of leftovers. They shipped my order to me in an original 21st Century master carton that was for 6 Pak40 1/18 guns. Would be interesting to see what the master cartons say that have been shipped to Tuesday Morning.
