Yes, that is what it is all about, learning and keeping it fun. You're progressing quite well, and you'll never become good at something unless you try. I still recall painting my first 1/35 kits. I actually came across one, a jagdpanther, a few days ago while packing my stuff :( . Not my best work lol, but it made me remember that everyone has to start somewhere. Keep up the good work Jim :D

Kevin, thanks, but you are too kind, but I figure if I'm brave enough to show my skills, anyone should.

Not bad ram. :D

And if you continue, you will only get better.

Just think of all the great models that aren't available in diecast you can do.

It could look better with a bit of weathering, which would also tone down the glossy appearance. Don't ask me how to do that, though - the last time I tried it on a kit, it made it look worse than when I started :D

Well, I'm off on part two of building 1/72 models, this one is even smaller, by the way I did weather the Blitz and it looks alittle better, I'll update with pictures when I feel everyone needs a good laugh

Question, on this small of scale are windows required?, I have got several different kits, some come with windows and others don't, what is the norm?

If you leave the so called glass out is that wrong, or do you just put it together and say what the #&%*, welll, you know what I mean.

Opinions, welcomed, thanks.

C'mon, guys, I know you look at this, really, is it bad to delete windows on this really small but neat scale?, or is it not that big of deal?

I just know the one I'm working on, well, if I add the so called windows to it, they look like armored car stuff .

I would personally include windows, but that is just me.

It just doesnt seem complete without them.

Ram04, are you saying you got a couple of kits that didn't come with clear plastic windows. Never heard of that, and if that is the case, I would stay away from those kits in the future.

In my opinion, install the "glass", and if you are really that unhappy with them, consider buying a better, more expensive kit. Like most things, you usually get what you pay for.

Actually the kit I've been working on has so-called glass, just its so far out of apportion, that it looks too thick, the other kit, the Opel Blitz did not come with any glass, even so, its a better detailed kit than most.

I believe I've came up with a answer to the problem, I'll just have to see if it works, thanks for the input, always welcomed, you never learn if you don't listen :D
