32x airplane poll..

Post by hworth18 » Mon Oct 03, 2005 1:35 pm

With the HUGE influx of new paint schemes and new planes recast from XD, I am curious to see what other members would like to see in "EXISTING" 21st Century molds, XD molds included.. Or suggestions for other paint schemes..

I personally have 2... I'd LOVE to see "Black/Blue 12" and I'd LOVE to see the Bf-109G done in 32x..

I voted the Corsair - but the Stuka and P-38 would also be welcome. All three would be unique in the (non-kit form) 1:32 scale aircraft selection. Who knows - we've heard that there are some new 32x aircraft surprises in the works now!

You got my vote for the "Black/Blue#12". My guess as to what "one" of 3 new 32x planes will be and the "one" being the surprise will be a B-17 "Flying Fortress". Because they'll never do one in 18x,the wing span alone would be at least 6'ft.,way too big. That's why I think it will be done in 32x first. Besides it would be good marketing strategy and help boost sales for 21st.Century.

A B-17, if done well, would practically jump (or fly?) off the shelves. Then there would be the trickle-down effect in that people would have to have some P-51s to escort the B-17, and then a Bf-109 attacking and then.......
