The first four absolutly. As a matter a fact I will probably order today! Those prices and shipping over the pond will probably make it not worth it, however I really would like the stuff!

I got an e-mail from Lisa Denmark Fri,Sept.23,2005 regarding these "new accessory packets" because I am interested in at least one of these. It's the "Road-block" or "Check-point" set. Very nice I might add too. You could do a lot with this one. Of course you can get the original Airfix's "Check-point" set that was never initially released due to manufacturing problems in the 70's. That's why you did'nt see it. Since then somebody else bought the molds, had them repaired or something and solved the defects for production. I've got 2 myself but I also like FOV's version too. Anyhow, according to Lisa,an announcement will be made Oct.20th. Until then she does not know what items will be available in 2006. She also added that FOV did not receive enough positive feedback from their retailers to make a production run worthwhile. Indeed these "packs" have been released to the "European market" only. Till then, we'll see what Lisa can do for us here in the "good 'ol U.S.A. !

Lisa is great to deal with and she is correct about the lack of interest, hence the poll I'm running. To see if there really is a lack of interest in the 1/32 accessory sets or just that nobody is talking about them. Who knows, if FOV see's a large enough vote for the sets, they just might make them for the North American market. It all lies in the hands of people on this forum and a couple of others. All I ask is, that if you vote do so honestly. If you aren't interested then vote no, don't vote yes. All this will do is give a false count and defeat the whole purpose of this.
Like I posted in another thread, the FOV releases will be made in LA Oct. 20th. Let's hope there are plenty of new things for both 1/32 and 1/72.

This poll prompted me to move out of "lurker" mode, and I finally joined up so I could respond...
I would LOVE to see these sets in the US. There are so many great buildings out there, but very little in the way of furnishings. I even braved the doll house section of the craft store so I could stock my 1:18 ruins with smashed grandfather clocks, tables for my Build-a-rama radio, overturned bookcases... But there just isn't anything like that for 1:32. My buildings are all empty!
I can't believe FOV made a little bathtub, a dresser, and all those other great details to throw into the rubble. I doubt we'll ever see it here, thouhg, so maybe Build-a-Rama will see this thread and come up with something for us....

These items would be GREAT for detailing diorams and other displays. I can't understand why Unimax hasn't offered them here.

Because FOV has the impression that there is no demand for these sets. Hopefully this poll and others will help to change their mind.

The only problem with them putting these sets on their website and making them available for purchase through it, is they don't want to bypass their distributors and start cutting them out of the loop.
I personally think that FOV should send a quantity to NA to see just how much these are in demand. They don't have to send an entire container but a reasonable number that, if for some strange reason they don't sell, isn't going to cost them an arm and leg. They claim that the retailers aren't asking for these sets, so if they don't ask it is deemed as being unpopular. We have to get after our usual retailers and get them asking for these sets on a regular basis.
I don't think the large sets that would probably sell for $30 U.S. +, will ever be found in Wally World or Target. Usually they both are in the $10 - $15 range so they might get the small sets.
Better yet, if you really want these sets, email your interest directly to the parent company for FOV, Unimax in Hong Kong
candydong@unimax.com.hk
They aren't going to be swayed by a few emails, it will take a large number so I guess it is up to the collectors at this point.

Better yet, E-mail Lisa Denmark. She always answers my messages. "The Powers That Be at F.O.V." have the final say so on anything. It's not totally up to Lisa though,in the Decision Dept.,She's just a conduit for management.

Lisa is a great person to deal with but emailing her won't help in this case. She is aware of the demand for these sets and has also tried to make FOV aware but FOV just aren't taking her word, not right but this is how it is. The only way to get the message through and have FOV take it seriously is to email them directly, this way they can't say the demand isn't there when Panache Place tries to tell them otherwise. Trust me on this one, email
candydong@unimax.com.hk This is the FOV company email for the person who receives all input from the public and then Candy compiles it and forwards to the correct people in marketing. You'll have to go directly to the source for this one if you really want some action.
You would be amazed if you knew how little communication goes back and forth between California and Hong Kong. "DIY"

CORRECT ! Sorry about that "FOV", I just thought e-mailing Lisa direct would do some good. What we need to do is get everybody's input from this club and "submit this positive information regarding these "new" accessory packets for sale here domestically, by via "Direct mail-ordering".
