My 1:43-1:50th Scale Armor Collection

I happen to think that the midsized scale---1:43-1:50th----is ideal for diecast and ready-made armor models. Though I have many smaller and larger ones, the midsized scale offers an ideal balance between the desire for detail and finding space to display the models; for me, the 1:72nd versions are just too small while the 1:30-1:35 scale is just too large. I am aware that some vendors feel that Corgi's 1:50th scale line did not sell well and was a mistake, however other manufacturers continue to put out models in this scale---or close to it----and are doing fairly well. In any event, I make it a point to seek out such models, including products made by Solido, Verem ( using Solido parts, plus mods ), Tamiya, Gaso.line, HM, as well as other lines. I thought I'd share pictures of some of these models. We start with a group of Gaso.Line and Master Fighter pieces:Image

Have seen numerous posts of your most impressive armour collection, Epap. 8)

Only 1/32 for me, but your argument for 1/43- 1/50 has its merits, and I can understand why.

And just like your aircraft, you have some pretty obscure vehicles, that have been done in model form. :D

Thanks, Snake. I wonder how many collecters actually like this scale range. I hope I'm not the only one. :?:
