New 32X
I sure hope one of them is a 32X of the 109 G-6. I also would love a FW 190-A8.

After having been dealing with speculative releases and release dates for 3+ years, you learn to take everything you hear from 21st with a grain of salt, and just be happy when it finally shows up on the shelves.

Just a quick side note: I had the pleasure of needing to speak to Roy about something today. He wanted to add a little more info to the concerns of "when" these new planes would see light of day...
I quote "hop on to the 1:32 board sometime, let those guys know that while I can't say specifically when they will be out, it's ok to let them know that 2 of the 3 planes are already quite deep into the production process."
I was happy to hear this myself. So the million dollar question is did I find out what they were?... Of course I asked!!!!
This was the answer "you know the rules... it's still too early to reveal them. However, You can let the fans know the guess of a Starfighter is cold one, not even close to warm."
So there you have it!

I'm betting one is an Avenger, I was looking at the Pics of the prototype from Comic Con and there next to the model is a small box ith a TBM from flight 19. The box was WAY to small to be for a 1/18 aircraft but perfect for a 1/32nd scale one.

I also made the same assumption, but I believe it was determined that the box was a "prototype" for the upcoming 1/18 version and so it was made smaller.. I think it even says 1/18 on the box..Jericoeagle1 wrote:I'm betting one is an Avenger, I was looking at the Pics of the prototype from Comic Con and there next to the model is a small box ith a TBM from flight 19. I would venture to say that the "2 planes already deep in production" would be two existing XD planes downsized for the 32x scale, similar to the P-47 and Fw-190 which are downsized versions also.. I do hope the 109G is one of these, it would make me VERY happy..

A clever deception my friend part of Roy's "cunning plan" to keep us all guessing.hworth18 wrote:I also made the same assumption, but I believe it was determined that the box was a "prototype" for the upcoming 1/18 version and so it was made smaller.. I had plenty of time at Comic Con to check everyting out. The Flight 19 box concept is for the 1:18 scale line my understanding is that it will be part of the special edition line hence the special box art.
These concept boxes are smaller simply due to size and a desire to keep more display room for product at the shows.
I don't think the Avenger is one of the planes in this round.
I saw one of the plane prototypes on Roys desk when I was in town visiting 21st for the day. This was about oh... 6 months ago! So I can confirm that they are deep in production.
I said hey cool you are doing a _____ in 1:32! Roy said yeah, you think that is cool wait till you see the other 2! So I know one of the 3. But I am under an NDA on releasing that info till I get the official word. Everyone will be pleased! I don't mean to tease I really don't. -sorry.
Did I mention that now is a good time to jump into 1:32 scale planes!....

Awwww C'mon TKO.. Give it up.. If these are already in production, then you're not harming anything by telling us what they are.. Again, I'd MUCH rather hear it from you then see it on the Walmart Recon thread..tko211 wrote:Yep, they do read the posts. 1:32 F-104 would be a cool pick though! I love the 1:18 versions. My money is on a Brewster Buffalo. ...just kidding.

And besides, it gives us something to look forward to..

How about whispering it to me and I'll blab. That way you won't be blamed. I'll think of a cunning lie.tko211 wrote:I had plenty of time at Comic Con to check everyting out. I am watching the development of these pretty close! I ask Roy every chance I get. Trust me you will hear about them before they show up on shelves. I don't think I was supposed to see the one that I did see. Remember 21st, watches these threads and I sure don't want violate my Non Disclosure Agreement (NDA). They are close and I know the one I saw looked so good in 1/32! The one I saw was WWII.
