Always wanted BBI to do a Vietnam Era "camo" scheme on their 1/32 scale Phantom! Now that they are doing repaints with their 1/18 scale F16 & 109, might we see the Phantom soon? :D

That is one of those "logical" next steps for BBI. So would a Dauntless and Wildcat repaint, preferably in early-war markings. They've been showing some life in the 1:18 arena, so hopefully 1:32 won't be too far behind.

The BBI F-4 has turned out to be one of my favorite pre-built small-scale model aircraft in any scale. I've had mine on continuous display since I got it a few years ago :D

With you on the SBD. Early war, Coral Sea or Midway would be cool. I like the 1943 Dauntless they were originally going to release too as it's real colorful and different.

Vietnam olive and tan camouflage on the F4. Though I'll buy any repaint BBI chooses to do on any of their excellent 1:32.

I still want a Taylor and Welch pair of 1:32 P-40 B/C's.

I would like any repaint of the F-4

BBI had shown a second scheme of the SBD. Don't remeber the details other than the red outline insignia

A BBI Phantom repaint in SEA camp would be awesome. But since BBI really did their homework very well on matching the VF-84 Jolly Rogers scheme to the mold their Phantom represents, I doubt we'll see any camo schemes. The present mold is a J model which was exclusively used by the Navy and Marines. The camo schemes were USAF on C, D, E, and F models of the Phantom to get an Air Force model their would need the chin pod under the nose, different wings, tail, and engine nozzles. That's just the major exterior differences. What BBI should have done was make their mold either a B for the Navy or a C for the USAF. They're pretty close to the same on exterior differences and therefore either of the three branches would be easier for paint schemes.
