Hobby Master 48th scale Hawker Fury
I see my Hobby Master 1:48th scale Hawker Fury will be coming in next week. Really looking forward to this one, looks like another beauty from Hobby Master.

They are now in stock at many retailers, at least here on the west coast. I've got one coming I agree: its going to be another beauty from Hobby Master! They really have found a nice nice with their inner-war series of 1:48 scale aircraft in that they are something unique and which don't duplicate the efforts of the competition.
Pictures are already up on the The Flying Mule and it looks fantastic, but what's up with that white-colored pilot figure?

Yes, it is a beautiful model, and I really like the paint scheme on the S1 version. I display all of my 48th scale models without the pilot figures. As nice as Hobby Master models are, those pilot figures look like blobs of plastic.

Re: Hobby Master 48th scale Hawker Fury
It came today
Another great addition to my Hobby Master pre-war aircraft collection. The Hawker Fury just looks fantastic.
A note about the pilot figure as well (as if I really should be more concerned with the plane ). I was a little bit disappointed with it at first and was just about to repaint it until I googled images of "RAF pilot 1930s". Turns out Hobby Master did their homework even with this little blob of plastic. RAF pilots wore white or tan fatigues during this period, so the seeming unpainted "white" pilot is correct

The Fury is a great looking model, as is HM US pre war aircraft as well.
None for me, as I don't collect pre war, but HM has done a great job with these types.
