I found about 15 of the new 32x German 7.5cm Infantry Gun sets with the crew and display base at a Wal Mart in Fresno, Ca. today! They sold for $9.98. That ebay seller that had them a while back was legit.

I also found 3 of the new 1:144 Tanks - the King Tiger, Sherman, and Panzer IV, but declined to pick them up. They seemed nice - not CanDo nice - but well worth the price and packaged decently. Apart from war gaming or dioramas, they might make interesting Christmas Tree ornaments :)

Yeah, I got the info too, interesting , but you can always use a new magnet for the refrigerator when you have kids.

Area21 (aka, TKO211) reports that the new 32x planes are "on the water" and should hit stores soon. Hopefully, they will go quickly to all parts of the US, and not just the midwest and east coast like the really cool 21c products often do

Those 32x Zeros look awesome!! Hopefully they'll show up in my area - or at least go to the small retailers first. I like the fact that the 32x Zero in the Naval paintscheme is the wingman (I think) of the 1:18 BBI Zero 8)

Very nice! Both of the Macchi paintschemes look great! I hope the new 32x planes get a wide distribution like the 32x tanks did over the holidays. Hopefully they will start showing up before too long.

Zeros

Post by JimBob55 » Sun Feb 05, 2006 9:42 pm

I'm not usually on the 1:32 forum...

But the new Zeros look great. Also, contrary to what it says on the 21C site, they are NOT both A6M2's. The green version is a A6M3 model 22; if you look closely, the cowl is different. I commend 21C for the extra effort at this subtle but important model difference; this difference is more than just paint. I would like to see them try this in the 1:18 line, although it may be not viable in that market.

By the way, the Macchi is absolutely beautiful!! Shades of Alfa Romeo's and Ducati's!!

just great

Post by eddie372 » Sun Feb 05, 2006 11:47 pm

I've been seriously contemplating giving up on my 1:32 modest collection, so that I can concentrate exclusively on my 1:18s. But that was until I saw the newly released pictures of 21C latest offerings: The Macci 202 and the Zeros.

All four of these airplanes look absolutely great. Now the question is: Where will they hit the shelves?

Area recons will be highly appreciated.

i think all those pictures are of plastic model kits built up and photographed and not the actual 32x planes, that's why the subtle differences between Zeros..

Area 21 has a pic of the new ME-109 paint scheme up now. They claim it should be released very soon.

It is probably in the assortment with the Macchi and Zeros. That's the best and most striking ME-109 repaint yet! I'd love to see that in 1:18 as well.

All I can provide is my name, rank and serial number.

I have personally inspected the final production samples for the Zero and the 202! They are flat out the BEST 32x planes ever made! I think you guys can plan on a good year here!

Now how about some pictures of the new P-47D Bubbletop.... WITH FIN FILLET!!!!!!

Looking at the photos of the Zero the flap counterbalances are on top. Is this correct?
