Where in MO are you located? Was wondering if these finds were in my AO (basically St. Louis)... That would be way cool.
Thanks!

I have 25 including the three planes I picked up today.. And as soon as the other series 202s and S1 Zero shows up, I'll have another 3 to add to that..

Am I to understand that there are three Zero paint schemes? I have seen the grey ones and a green version with white stripes on the wings on the web. The only ones I have seen here in NJ is the plain green version with no stripe on the wings.

Aw Crap, you got to be kidding. I have hit four WMs in my area and nothing put the green 170. This stuff is driving me crazy...want to stop but I cant, it just feels too good... I suppose, if the last armor release by 21st is any indication, we should have plenty of planes once they get distributed. At last count, the closest WM to me has about 15 Stugs, Strumpanzers and the grey Pzkw on the shelf.
TJ
PS: I am glad to see that nobody is biting at the $30 planes on Ebay. With the base UPS shipping it comes out to almost $40 for a $15 plane. If we had them in quantity by me, I would sell them on ebay at cost just to torpedo the guy.

Stopped by my WM today (Des Moines, Iowa) at lunch, and they (finally) had the Wasp 109, RR P-51 and Lanowski P-47...grabbed the Jug...I kept telling myself I was not going to get any more in 1/32 scale, but it just looked too cool not to get it! Still no Zeros

Hi Everyone,
Had a great day today at my Wally, scored a cart to sort through the pile of boxes up on the top shelf. I found
Eileen P-47
Snortin Bull p-47
Green Zero
Macchi 74
109 yellow 7
Love Eileen and the green zero. These planes are just great for $15 a pop

Glad you're still in the hobby! I'm casually hoping the new repaints of the Zero and Macchi will show up here in the west before too long. I want to get that dark-cammo Macchi.

That is the plane I am after too is that dark green Macchi. If you find them let me know, because they are elusive here. That green zero was a very unexpected treat and I have a feeling someone picked up the green macchi before i got to that store
Corey
I already have 14 of the aircraft, LOL

I saw the new paint schemes for the Macchi and the Zeros at WM tonight! I wasn't expecting them to be here this fast!
I would not waste any time getting the older set now as it looks like they are about finished!
The new assortments are already starting to show up!

The brown camo Veltro looks good. Anyone know if the A6M3 is the Hamp with blunt tipped wings?

I spotted the Macchi C.205 Veltro and the A6M3 Zeros at a Wal Mart in Fresno, CA. I was not impressed with the paintscheme for the Veltro (green striped with Italian Flag), but I picked up a Zero. The faded weathering on the version I got was done quite well!
The 21c C.205 Veltro is essentially the 21c C.202 Folgore with the extra intakes on the nose and wing cannon added. The rest of the fuselage is essentially that of the C.202, which accounts for some of the inaccuracies when compared with a real Veltro.
Should the other schemes for the Macchi C.205 show up (particularly the gray one) then I will consider hunting one down. I hope these planes eventually go to the small retailers as past 32x aircraft have, that way we can pick and choose without the hastle of ebay!

I've been able to find almost all the new extreme planes here in the last few weeks- by now is this true for most of us?
A6m2- kounoike, pearl harbor, saipan
A6m3- rabaul
macchi 202- tarantola, reiner, solari
macchi 205- visconti, luftwaffe
I think thats pretty good distribution so far- I never thought I would say that.

Georgia - from reading posts on this board - seems to have the best distribution in the country!! There's alot of stuff (both 1:18 and 1:32) that practically winds up rotting in your Wal Marts and never reaches the west. The German F-104s, Seeman ME-109s, BoB II figures, and Ridgerunner P-51s come to mind. But enough of this familiar rant. Wal Mart distribution, while I will agree it has gotten better since it first started carrying XD, still has a long way to go.
In short, I have not seen the "other half" of either of the 32x shipments in my area way out west.

Just saw that BCA has gotten in all the current repaints of the 32x A6M2 Zeros, A6M3 Zeros, Macchi 202s and Macchi 205s as regular 21c shipments. Wal Mart is obviously still the best deal, but if the planes haven't shown in your area yet...
