I don't know if this has been posted yet but while at the Fairfield airshow today I stopped by a one of the vendor's tables and found a New-Ray "kit" of a Fokker DVII for $8 and snagged it up. It has the red/white/blue scheme with the white eagle on the fuselage. There was also a yellow SPAD XIII with a rooster head on the side and with British roundels.

Also available (but not at the airshow :( ) is the red Dr.I and a Camel with white and red strips running length-wise on the fuselage. I believe these are 1/32.

After assembling it, which took about 35 minutes, it looks really nice. It makes me wish I would've bought the SPAD. The wings are quite sturdy and are held in place by screws that are in the wing struts and pretty much hidden unless you go looking for them. The fuselage went together by placing 3 rods in one side and traping the rudder, stabilizer, under carriage, and engine radiator w/prop in between. It fits in right next to my 32X airplane line up.

If I had a camera I'd post some pics. Too many cool toys out there to buy a camera. 8)

I highy recommend this new line. And besides, where are the other 1/32 WWI airplanes at?

I saw the Folker and the Sopwith Camel at my local Hobbytown Store as well. Compared to the other planes in the line, they look darn good!
