I just recieved a package after 2 months from China. Inside was a Hornisse 60060 Italy 1944 and a Stug IV 60117 Alsace 1944. However, I will first review the 60060.

Introduction: The Hornisse or Nashorn is a tank destroyer of the german army, and was produced mainly in 1943. It had a 88mm gun, but armor was only able to withstand small arms and blast debris. Nevertheless, a single nashorn was credited with destroying the only US Pershing tank lost in Europe.

The model: Dragon has definatly done a good job on their hornisse. The details are excellent, with the individual 88mm rounds stores on the hull of the vehicle. The gun can also be turned left and right, and can be elevated as well. The vehicle has a medium spray of camoflage with spots of green and brown and a base of standard dunkelgrab. The inner compartment is excellent, with knobs and turning wheels clearly detailed. The details are excellent, considering that this model was mass-produced. However, little to no diecast can be felt.

The tank: Dragon definately did their homework, since this exac vehicle did see service in Italy. This vehicle served with sPzAbt. 525. Apicture of this particular vehicle can be sen here: http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/c ... rnisse.jpg

Overall: This vehicle marks a quantum leap in Dragon Armors strive for details and camoflage. Overall, I am glad that I have this vehicle, and sits proudly with my favorite panther and tiger. It's price is also affordable, only $17.95!! :D :D :D :D
